Testimonials
When I first connected with Tanya, I thought I was just hiring a Breakthrough Coach to help me grow my business. I had no idea I was stepping into the kind of work that would change my life from the inside out.
At the time, I was at a crossroads. I was motivated to move forward professionally but internally going through a very heavy, disorienting season. What Tanya offered wasn’t just guidance or encouragement. She helped me reclaim parts of myself I didn’t even realize I had abandoned.
She invited me to slow down and unpack the limiting beliefs I had been carrying. Beliefs that didn’t even begin with me! With deep care, she helped me reframe those narratives, reconnect to my core values, and redefine what I truly want in life and in my business without having to lose or dilute any part of myself.
Tanya helped me return to a sense of safety within myself. She reminded me of what it means to be whole again. That shift didn’t just impact my mindset, it transformed the way I show up in my private practice and in my relationships.
Tanya is a true Breakthrough Coach not because she offers big wins, but because she walks with you through deep, meaningful change. I’m so grateful for the season I got to work with her, and I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone who’s ready to do the REAL work of coming back home to themselves. Thank you dearly, Tanya!

I worked with Tanya as my coach for almost a year, and honestly, I don’t say this lightly—she changed my life. When I first came to her, I thought I already had a good handle on what my issues were. I considered myself self-aware, functioning at a high level. But Tanya helped me uncover so many layers that I didn’t even realize were there.
She challenged me in ways I truly needed. She never let me off the hook, even when I was ready to throw in the towel. And that’s the kind of coach she is—committed, honest, and completely in your corner. She’s not just there to listen; she’s there to push you, stretch you, and make sure you don’t settle for staying stuck.
What I appreciated most were the tools she gave me—real, everyday frameworks I still use to this day. Tools that help me check myself, regulate my emotions, reflect on my patterns, and keep growing. I came out of our work not just with a better relationship, but as a better man, period.
Because of her, my relationship is intact. My fiancée and I are in a stronger place, and I’m showing up for my kids in ways I didn’t even know I was missing before. She even helped me process deep family stuff that I’d buried for years. I look at the world differently now. I look at myself differently.
If you’re thinking about working with Tanya, just know this—she’s the real deal. She’s going to challenge you, support you, and equip you to keep growing long after the sessions are done. I’d recommend her to anybody who’s serious about doing the work.
By the end of Tanya's session, I had booked a discovery call for that evening, and following that call, I signed up for one of Tanya's programs. It was a no-brainer for me—I had met a Black woman of a certain age who knew what I had lived through and how this had me trapped.
What I saw, heard, and felt from Tanya was a deep understanding of how our stories as Black women had us trapped, and she had the process and tools to get through these patterns without spending any more years in therapy. (Not that there's anything wrong with therapy, but by this time in my life, I have had a lifetime of therapy and therapists who still have not been able to shift me in one particular area.)
When I heard about From Trauma to Triumph™, I was hooked. To have a coach who understood how trauma in our lives, left unattended, can be soul-destroying was exactly what I needed. Tanya took me through the From Trauma to Triumph™ process, and I was completely challenged by her, but I knew that I wanted much more and committed to three months of working with Coach T.
I had become a great player at not putting myself first, giving myself away, and not appreciating my value. Even though as a Transformational Coach I have been supporting men and women from all walks of life to face these shadows, I had managed to elude myself from actually doing the work on a micro level.
As I did the work with Coach T through the From Trauma to Triumph™ methodology, my practice became so much sharper, and I have had the most amazing feedback from my clients and participants in both group and individual sessions.
I can truly say there have been times when I positively did not want to see or talk to Coach T, and when I went missing in action, she did not give up on me. She totally got me, and her commitment to my breakthrough has been phenomenal. I have been held accountable, challenged, respected, valued, seen, and heard. Thank you for being just what I needed you to be for me.
I chose to go on to program two, and that too has had its challenges, but most of all, I have had to look myself and my fear straight in the eye—for all the reasons as to why I am still in a certain place, specifically in one major area of my life. At the core was my refusal and unwillingness to work on the core beliefs and truly face what is stopping me from being the best version of myself for ME.
If you are ready to go deep into the what, how, and why you get in your own way, I would strongly recommend a call with Tanya. I am worth the investment in myself—if not now, then when?
This post is about how my coach, Tanya Dotson-Winckler, got me a over 250% (five-figure) return on my investment with her.
I hired Tanya because I, myself, was in coach training. I wanted a mentor to help me figure out how to develop my business. What Tanya has done for me goes far beyond that.
She has helped me to shift my mindset in ways that benefit me in all areas of my life, not just business. She has helped me to define my priorities and empowered me to build on a series of victories that seem to magically beget more victories. My (part-time) business went from zero to five figures in six months and new business continues to come.
I am astonished and grateful and I now have a direction for growing my business into a full-time enterprise when I am ready to but - that’s not the best part.
The best part is that in Tanya I had someone who believed in me without reservation, someone whose focused energy and steadfast loving attention cleared a path through the murk of my self-doubt and negativity so that I could actually appreciate my own value and project it to others in a way that drew them to me and my services. I could not have done this without her excellent coaching.
I am honored to write this testimonial on Tanya’s behalf and I urge you, if you are looking for that boost that takes you from ok to thrilling, give Tanya’s coaching a try. I don’t regret a penny that I invested in myself when I chose to retain her as my coach.

Tanya is a highly trained, committed and knowledgeable coach. Her many years of training individuals and groups set her apart from others. My first-hand experience of her work came on a radio show where she coached me to have a significant insight I otherwise would not have had. Now that I can see my behavior clearly, I'm unlikely to ever repeat it again - all due to the clarity of her skills. Not only is she a coach, she's a high-quality expert in time-based productivity.

I am generally good at managing my own time and accountabilities, but sometimes challenged in ensuring that those I have outsourced work to, follow through according to agreed deadlines. The course assisted me in structuring conversations and supporting my PA, accountant and marketing team to deliver as I expect and on time.
An unexpected result from the course is that I had my whole house deep cleaned – carpets and all – something I had wanted to do since I moved into our home 10 years ago!
Everything is as it should be and for the first time in ages I found myself saying - actually I have nothing I have to do today…so I got to take a full 8 hours of luxury time with my husband, my parents and my brother's family. My niece, nephew and I had a lot of fun carving pumpkin monsters out of pumpkins that grew in my garden and enjoyed watching them glow in the dark.
